I’m honored to have a painting accepted to the Lyme Art Association’s “Explorations” exhibition. A juried exhibition that invites artists to make thought-provoking artworks that employ diverse materials, methods, concepts and subjects in ways that expand their artmaking practices and engage in a broader cultural dialogue. With no theme or restrictions, all approaches, from conceptual, process-based and abstract to image-based, narrative and figurative were considered.

Exhibition: March 8, 2019 – April 18, 2019
Artist Reception & Awards: Sunday, March 17   |   2 – 4 pm
Location: The Lyme Art Association | 90 Lyme St  |  Old Lyme  |  CT  |  06371

The Explorations exhibition will be held at the historic Lyme Art Association. Opened in 1921 as a permanent exhibition home for the Lyme Art Colony artists, the Lyme Art Association Gallery, which is free to the public, continues to be a vibrant art center. Professional as well as developing artists mount major exhibitions throughout the year and form the heart of the Lyme Art Association which now boasts over 1,000 members.
